DIY Installation vs Professional Fitting in Dublin: Which Should You Choose?

Every set of our custom seat covers can be fitted two ways: by you, at home, in about an hour — or by our team at the Dublin workshop, while you have a coffee. Both routes end with the same result: covers that fit like a second skin. The right choice depends on your car, your confidence and where you live.

Option 1: DIY Installation at Home

Our covers are designed for DIY fitting from the ground up. The pattern is cut for your exact make and model, so there's no wrestling with loose fabric — each piece goes where it's meant to go.

What it involves:

1. Pulling each cover over the seat and aligning it, starting from the top of the backrest.
2. Making small incisions in the marked side seams for adjustment levers and controls.
3. Securing the Velcro fastening under the seat cushion and hooking the elastic straps to the frame.
4. Carefully cutting the headrest openings along the stitching.

Time needed: about 45–60 minutes for a typical car. No special tools — a pair of scissors and a bit of patience.

Best for: anyone comfortable with basic hands-on work. As we like to say: if you can fit a child seat, you can fit our covers. And since delivery is free anywhere in Ireland with tracking included, DIY is the most convenient route for customers outside Dublin.

Option 2: Professional Fitting at Our Dublin Workshop

Professional fitting is available exclusively at our workshop in Ballycoolin — Unit 229, Blanchardstown Corporate Park 2, Dublin 15.

What it involves:

1. You book a workshop order with a €200 deposit (see payment options).
2. We design the covers with you and take the order.
3. When your set is ready, you come in and our team fits everything — perfectly tensioned, every opening cut cleanly, headrests seated properly.
4. You pay the balance on completion and drive off with a finished interior.
